Our MissioN

The 5th Dimension Outdoor Club (The Club) was established as an organization for the purpose of providing active seniors, 55 years of age and older, with the opportunity to participate in outdoor activities as a group. It is the fifth such group in the City of Calgary, hence its name. The Club acknowledges its debt to the City of Calgary Parks and Recreation Department for their invaluable assistance in the formation of The Club in the spring of 1991.

During the summer months each Wednesday, The Club also offers the opportunity to golf in Calgary with other members.
We invite active individuals over 55 years of age to come along and enjoy these outdoor activities.

Extraordinary Experiences

The Club could be of interest to seniors in the Calgary area who like to hike, cross-country ski or snowshoe. We offer year-round day trips by coach every Thursday to destinations mainly in the foothills and mountain parks west of Calgary. Different skill levels – levels of activity are accommodated. The bus must be pre-booked, and guests are invited when space is available.
